In March of 2001, the Three
Amigos embarked on an endeavor to provide a venue for Digital
Photographers to compete and share with others their photos on
BestFoto.com.We decided to make this web site free for
anyone wishing to compete.Over the years, we’ve had some low points,
but way more high points.During the past few months, we’ve been
feverously trying to retool the web site.But unfortunately, it has proven to be more
involved than we anticipated.Therefore, with great sadness, we have
decided to cease all activities at Bestfoto.com on December 31, 2009.We will continue to accept submissions until
then, but at the end of that month, our judges will select the Best of
Category winners and the Best of Month winner for December 2009.
On a personal note, I would
like to thank our sponsors and advertisers who have stuck with us the

Software!I really appreciate your dedication and
support over the past years.Finally, I would like to thank all of you
who have made this site worthwhile.Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful
photographs with us and allowing us to share them with the rest of the
